 Utila, in the Bay Islands of Honduras, has one of the most reliably present populations of whale sharks to be found anywhere in the world. During the two major whale shark seasons of the year whale sharks can be found almost every day less than 1 mile from the coast of Utila. This closeness to the island reefs allows us to include whale shark safaris with dive trips using the surface intervals between dives to snorkel with these huge sharks.
