Haliburton wheel house
The Haliburton Wreck lies at a depth of 30m (100ft), just outside the bay. Purposely sunk in 1998 the Haliburton provides us with a great wreck to explore and for training dives either as part of the Advanced course or for a Wreck Penetration Specialty.
Sitting in a sandy area with corals on the east side (port side) of the wreck you can find a large collection of invertebrates as well as the occasional surprise find of larger animals. Always check out the cargo hold and swim through the wheel house on the way back up. Barracuda and grouper are often hanging out around the wheel house of the wreck.
