Utila is home to a huge variety of dive sites, which makes the island a great place to take your Advanced Open Water course. From deep dives (to a maximum of 130ft/40m) such as Black Hills or wreck dives where you can explore the famous Haliburton wreck, to drift dives exploring the overhangs of Blackish Point or the caves and caverns of Airport Caves.

Becoming a Rescue Diver is an important and crucial transitional step where you will start looking beyond purely recreational diving. You will expand your diving knowledge and experience, and learn to look beyond yourself to the safety and well being of other divers.

The NAUI Master Scuba Diver certification is the highest attainable recreational diving certification available today. It is recognized worldwide as the most challenging and comprehensive recreational scuba diver program.

The Master Scuba Diver course is a continuing education certification course for divers who wish to increase their understanding and enjoyment of diving. This course is an excellent progression toward NAUI Leadership roles.
